First outputs of the alternative weeding solutions assessment phase!
Several solutions have been selected in all countries after a thorough evaluation, thanks to the involvement of stakeholders from all Europe. Selected solutions, already widespread or innovative, are relevant for diversified and alternative weed management systems. Technical and audio-visual material will therefore be produced in the coming months and the assessment results will be fed into the Digital Inventory.
Demonstration day at the Passerini farm (Italy), focusing on cover crops of the project IESS!
On Thursday, February 22nd, the first free demonstration day of the project “IESS – Innovative Agroecological Actions to Regenerate Soils by Producing Economic, Social, and Sustainable Impact” was held at the Passerini farm Close to Siena (Tuscany), focusing on cover crops. IESS is a project funded by the Rural Development Programme of the Tuscany Region and aims to quantify the economic, social, and environmental benefits of introducing agroecological practices in Tuscan farms.
Oper-8 was presented at the annual Regional Crop productrion and Crop protection conference
This popular conference was held at Bohusgården, Uddevalla, Sweden, between the 11th and 12th of January. The conference was hosted by Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and the program had been elaborated together with the Swedish Board of Agriculture, the County Administrative Board in West Sweden, The Housekeeping Society West, and Trials in West Sweden.
