Learn more in our E-learning module

This E-learning module about Alternative Weed Control, is designed to inform farmers, advisors, and policy makers about alternative weed management. The module describes the different types of weeds and the corresponding management practices, which are categorized into physical, chemical, and biological-agroecological strategies.

Each strategy is examined in detail, with examples drawn from different crops, specifically vineyards, open-field horticulture, and arable crops. In parallel, the module also highlights the project’s contribution to policy development. Upon completing the module, participants are invited to fill out the questionnaire in order to obtain their official Certificate of Completion.

🌿 This is our last issue of the Oper8 Weed Control Newsletter! 🌿

The Oper8 project has now come to an end after intensive work to identify and disseminate various alternative weed control methods across Europe.

We would like to thank all 8 participating partners across Europe, who have put in a tremendous amount of work to produce all the material and make it available to everyone.

Special thanks go to our funder, the European Union Horizon, for enabling us to carry out the project during the project period, and to everyone who participated in our webinars, field demonstrations, videos and podcast episodes. No one mentioned, no one forgotten.

The Oper8 website will remain public for the next five years so that everyone can share in our insights and lessons learned about alternative weed control.

Thank you for your attention and goodbye!
