Monterosola farm, located in a typical Tuscany hill landscape near to Volterra, Pisa. This farm was involved in the OG IO-CONCIV where, in vineyard, the introduction of a self-reseeding cover crop under the rows (a subterranean clover), coupled with a cover crop mixture sown on alternated inter-rows, was tested to reduce herbicide application and tillage intensity. In this demo event results were showed directly in vineyard, where the cover crop biomass under the row was still covering the ground, 4 years after planting.
