Sempre pi\u00f9 agricoltori cercavano soluzioni naturali per garantire una buona qualit\u00e0 e conservazione nel loro piano di gestione del suolo e delle infestanti. Il progetto \u00e8 stato condotto principalmente nei vigneti ma anche su alberi da frutto. Le erbe e le colture copertura impediscono l&#8217;erosione del suolo e riducono la perdita di acqua per evaporazione. Tuttavia, le colture copertura possono anche generare competizione con le piante di vite o alberi da frutto utilizzando le stesse risorse del suolo per crescere (acqua, progetto  zero-erbicidi \u00e8 stato guidato dall&#8217;Istituto francese per il vino e la vite (IFV), in collaborazione con le Camere di Agricoltura delle regioni mediterranee: Gard, H\u00e9rault, Aude e Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es-Orientales, e con il centro di ricerca Sudexp\u00e9, che svolge esperimenti sulle tecniche colturali su frutta e verdura nel sud della Gruppo Operativo 2015-2019.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-7\" style=\"--awb-text-color:var(--awb-color1);\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-8 fusion-text-no-margin\" style=\"--awb-text-color:var(--awb-color1);--awb-margin-bottom:4%;\"><p>Nelle regioni mediterranee, la competizione per l&#8217;acqua \u00e8 una questione importante e le colture copertura rappresentano una vera sfida per gli agricoltori alla ricerca di metodi alternativi per il controllo delle infestanti. Concentrandosi sulla zona intrafila, questo progetto ha sperimentato diverse specie e combinazioni di colture copertura, metodi di implementazione delle colture copertura intrafila e misurazione della competizione tra viti, infestanti e specie di colture copertura. Per i suoli profondi, aggiungere 1 fila su 2 con colture copertura consente di raggiungere circa il 70% di copertura del suolo, ma la competizione per l&#8217;acqua e i nutrienti (azoto&#8230;) pu\u00f2 influire sulla vigoria e sulla forza delle piante, rendendo necessaria la fertilizzazione e la riduzione della larghezza delle colture copertura. Tuttavia, nelle condizioni mediterranee, non \u00e8 consigliabile una copertura completa.<\/p>\n<p>Gli esperimenti sono stati condotti sull&#8217;area intrafila. Le colture copertura sono state solo sfalciate, evitando cos\u00ec la distruzione meccanica o chimica in quest&#8217;area. Le file interfilari sono state arate durante il periodo di crescita. I partner del GO hanno sviluppato colture di copertura sotto le file di viti e alberi da frutto (intrafila) con una combinazione di diverse specie, spontanee e seminate. A seconda della scelta delle specie, \u00e8 possibile ottenere diverse percentuali di copertura del suolo, altezze diverse delle colture copertura e tassi di competizione diversi.<\/li>\n<li>Problemi tecnici da risolvere: la semina intrafila \u00e8 complicata e pu\u00f2 essere costosa;
